Ở vùng núi có hệ sinh thái đa dạng như rừng rậm, thác nước và đầm lầy. Nhiều loài động vật và thực vật quý hiếm, có nguy cơ tuyệt chủng sống trong các hệ sinh thái này. Những ngọn núi cũng là nơi sinh sống của nhiều bộ lạc địa phương. Trong quá khứ, du lịch, nạn phá rừng và săn bắn đã đe dọa rừng tự nhiên và các loài động vật trong đó. Bài nghe: Welcome to Focus on Vietnam. Today, I am excited to tell you about my visit to Huế City – the historic capital city of Vietnam during the Nguyen Dynasty. There are so many places to see in Huế, the tour guide decided to take a motorbike tour instead of a walking tour in order to see as much as possible. On one side of the Huong River, also known as the Perfume River, there are many pagodas and tombs as well as a complex of Huế monuments, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. At the beginning of the tour, we went to the Imperial City to visit the Citadel where the Nguyen families live. In the central of the Citadel, there is a forbidden purple city, where only the Emperor and his family were allowed inside. Most of this area is ruined, except the Emperor’s Reading Room. I was amazed at the walls of the room that were covered with poems and decorations. Next, we rode down motorbike to Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the most famous pagodas in Vietnam. We didn’t stay too long because it was hot and crowded with many tourists. Finally, we stopped along the Huong River, where there were food stalls and wonderful shops. Tiếp theo, chúng tôi đi xe máy đến chùa Thiên Mụ, một trong những ngôi chùa nổi tiếng nhất ở Việt Nam. Chúng tôi không ở lại lâu vì trời nóng và đông khách du lịch. Cuối cùng, chúng tôi dừng lại dọc theo sông Hương, nơi có những quán ăn và cửa hàng tuyệt vời. Tôi muốn ở lại cửa hàng lâu hơn nhưng chúng tôi phải trở về khách sạn.
