Cấu trúc hỏi xem ai đó làm nghề gì: What + do/does + S + do?

Chủ ngữ trong câu này là “your father” nên ta dùng trợ động từ “does”.

(Bố bạn làm nghề gì?)

2. Chọn a

Trong câu hỏi đã có sự xuất hiện của trợ động từ (trong trường hợp này là trợ động từ “does”) thì động từ chính trong câu ta giữ ở dạng nguyên thể.

(Chị gái bạn làm việc ở đâu?)

3. Chọn b

Chủ ngữ trong câu này là “she”, là ngôi thứ 3 số ít nên động từ chính trong câu cần được chia. Trường hợp này ta thêm “s” vào sau động từ.

She works at a hosptal.

(Cô ấy làm việc tại một bệnh viện.)

4. Chọn c

Cấu trúc câu hỏi có phải ai đó làm nghề gì không: To be + S + a/an + N?

Chủ ngữ trong câu này là “your mother”, là ngôi thứ 3 số ít nên ta dùng kèm động từ to be “is”.

Is your mother a teacher? – Yes, she is.

(Mẹ của bạn là một giáo viên phải không? – Đúng vậy.)

5. Chọn c

work on a farm: làm việc ở một nông trại

My grandfather works on a farm.

(Ông của tôi làm việc ở một nông trại.)
