Wembley Stadium

I’m not an Arsenal fan myself, but this is one of England’s top football stadiums. Check out the murals outside, which celebrate some of the Gunners’ most legendary players.

The Undercroft

This skatepark next to the River Thames has been the heart of Britain’s skateboarding community for over forty years. It’s so popular that you can see some of the most talented skaters and BMXers in the country there. Wembley Stadium

This is the biggest stadium in the UK, and in my opinion, it’s the best! You can see the famous arch from miles away; it’s taller than the London Eye. The stadium has such a powerful sound system that the music can be heard clearly from every corner.

Wimbledon

Lots of top tennis stars have played on Wimbledon’s Centre Court, including the Williams sisters, Federer and Nadal. It’s the only Grand Slam tournament on grass, so Wimbledon has its own hawk, Rufus, to scare away the pigeons. The grass on Wimbledon’s Center Court is maintained so carefully that it’s often considered the best grass court in the world. While you’re here, try the classic dish – strawberries and cream.

Hidden History

It’s amazing to think of the treasures that might be hidden under your feet. Did you know that many ancient things are discovered accidentally by ordinary people in everyday locations?

In 2007, Britain’s only complete Viking ship was located under a pub near Liverpool when the owner decided to renovate the building. Construction workers were excavating an area in order to build a car park, when they accidentally unearthed the 1,000-year-old ship. Thick mud had protected it.

The ship hasn’t been removed yet, but archaeologists plan to restore it. They hope that it will be displayed in a museum one day.

Sometimes, archaeologists know what they’re looking for and get lucky. The skeleton of King Richard III of England was lost for centuries, since the church where he was buried had been destroyed. But recently, the king’s skeleton was uncovered in a car park in Leicester. It was examined by experts, who used DNA techniques to confirm the identity of the king.

Hidden History takes a closer look at some incredible stories of accidental or lucky discoveries.

The cathedral can accommodate up to 1,200 worshippers. It’s also a popular spot for photographers, as the stunning façade of the cathedral makes for a perfect backdrop.

Bridges Urban Sports Park, Belfast

The park was opened in 2011 and it was designed to turn an old industrial site into a public space. It is situated five minutes' walk from Belfast city centre in Little Patrick Street, BT15 1BA. The nearest car park is next door and costs £3 for the day.

The park provides some of the most modern leisure facilities in the area for skateboarding, parkour and BMXing. It is open from 7.30 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. daily. Remember to follow these safety rules:

Always use safety equipment (a helmet is essential).
Make sure your equipment is in good condition.
Avoid skating or cycling when there is water on the surfaces - they are more dangerous in wet weather.

Please note, anybody who doesn't follow the above rules will be asked to leave immediately.

Here's the next stop on my tour of UK urban sports parks - and this place gets 10 out of 10 for the coolest location! It's located right under a massive motorway a few minutes from the centre of Belfast.

I got here at 9.00 a.m., so I was feeling more tired than usual, but I soon got into the action. I tried out the big rectangular bowl first - the surface was smoother than others I've used. Then I went on to the quarter pipe – well designed and awesome for BMXers like me.

There are plenty of other things to do here and I'd definitely recommend the place. The only thing I'd say is that it gets really noisy when there's loads of heavy traffic! It's worse at rush hour times, so it's best to avoid those.

NOTRE DAME CATHEDRAL OF SAIGON

The front of the church turns to the Southeast, towards Nguyen Du Street, the back heads to the current Le Duan Street. The construction was done fairly quickly, nearly 3 years. On 11^th April 1880, a blessing ceremony and inauguration ceremony of Saigon Cathedral was solemnly celebrated by Bishop Colombert with the participation of Cochinchina Governor – Charles Le Myre de Vilers. All construction materials for the church such as cement, steel, tile, stained glass, bells, etc. were all transported from France. The outside of the buildings, for instance, was built totally of red bricks from Marseille without being plastered or cemented. However, it still remains a fresh orange-red color until today. In the beginning, the Church was called the State Church, because all the construction funding was provided by the French State, with an amount of up to 2,500,000 francs at that time. In 1895, the Church built two more bell towers, each tower was 57.6 meters high and had 6 large copper bells. In 1958, the governor of the Saigon at that time, Father Joseph Pham Van Thien, ordered a statue of the Mother of Peace on white marble. The statue was carved in Italy and transported to Saigon by sea in 1959. After that, Société d’Entreprises Company erected a statue of Our Lady on a stone pedestal that has been empty since 1945 in front of the church. At the end of the ceremony of the National Congregation of the Holy Mother, Cardinal Aganianian from Rome blessed the statue in the afternoon of 17^th February 1959. From this event, the Church was named Notre Dame Cathedral.

Here are some things to keep in mind regarding our booking procedure:

Priority is given to customers who have made a booking.
It is possible to jump without a booking, but it is possible that there will be up to a 3-hour wait.
Our bookings are made up of 30-minute blocks throughout the day with up to 2 people per block.
Please allow at least 2 hours from check-in to jump.

Booking times are available on the hour & on the half hour and we normally can accommodate 6 jumpers per 30-minute block.
