Dad stopped the car and we waited to see what would happen. The landslide covered the road and we couldn't drive past. We found another way around, and my sister took some amazing photos to put on her blog.
Clare: I live in the countryside next to a river. Last winter, there was a terrible storm. When I was going to bed that night, I could hear the rain and the wind, but I wasn't worried. In the morning, I looked out of the window and saw a flood. The street was full of water from the river. The water went down during the day and no one was injured. But it was so strange to see everything under water.
