To write postcards to your friends, you should:

1. Start with an informal greeting (Mở đầu với một lời chào) : 

 "Hi Bảo...", “Hey Uyên...” 

2. Say where you are using the Present Continuous

(Nói nơi bạn đang ở bằng thì hiện tại tiếp diễn) :

"I'm writing to you from London...", "I'm having a great time in Sydney..." 

(“Tôi đang viết cho bạn từ Luân Đôn...”, “Tôi đang có một khoảng thời gian tuyệt vời ở Sydney...”)

3. Describe what you did using the Past Simple. Talk about activities

(Mô tả việc bạn đã làm sử dụng thì quá khứ đơn) :

"I went to the National Museum.", "I met a Canadian guy"

(“Tôi đã đến bảo tàng quốc gia.”, “Tôi đã gặp người Canada.”)

4. Talk about your plans for the rest of the vacation using the Present Continuous (future use) or the Future Simple:

"Tomorrow, we're going to Melbourne.", "We'll be in Chicago on Monday..."

5. Finish with an informal goodbye:

Hi Kim,

I'm really enjoying myself in Vancouver. I'm practicing my English a lot and I think I'm getting better. Last week, I went to the aquarium. I took the bus there. At first, I was nervous speaking English, but now it's fun to use English to buy tickets and order food. On Saturday, I watched a hockey game. Canadians are crazy about hockey. I talked to a Canadian guy named Troy. He explained the rules of ice hockey to me. I enjoyed the game a lot more once I understood it better. He gave me his email address, so I'll write to him soon. I'm coming back to Vietnam next week - I wish I could stay longer so I could practice my English more. See you soon.
