Countable nouns are people, animals, places, things or ideas that can be counted. They have a singular or plural form. We ask “how many” for countable nouns.

Uncountable nouns (Danh từ không đếm được)

Uncountable nouns may be names for abstract ideas or qualities that cannot be counted. They often have the singular form and are used with singular verbs. We ask “how much” for uncountable nouns.

Uncountable nouns include: sugar, tea, rice, knowledge, entertainment, advice, happiness, research, time, information, money, progress, work, news, equipment, etc.
