Most people agree that the lack of exercise in teenagers' lives is a serious problem. But what are the causes of this problem and what can we do to address them?

I strongly believe that today's teenagers spend too much time playing on electronic gadgets. They hardly ever do outdoor activities and this is why many of them do not get enough exercise. What is more, many teenagers are overweight and this makes them less willing to do exercise.

In order to tackle this problem, a number of measures are necessary. In my view, it is unrealistic to limit the amount of time teenagers spend on gadgets. What I propose instead is that we make sure school canteens only serve healthy food. Furthermore, I would strongly recommend that we give all teenagers free membership of their local sports facilities.

To conclude, lack of exercise can cause long-term health problems, so it is vital that we act now. It seems to me that the measures I propose will begin to remedy the situation.

Writing short articles in the form of a list (listicles)

Short articles in the form of a list are called listicles. They're very common on the internet. To write interesting listicles, you should:

1. Create a title. Use words to get readers' attention such as simple, free, easy, secret, etc. Make sure your title tells the readers exactly what to expect.

5 secrets to a longer life; 10 easy habits you should have to live longer and happier

2. Write a short introduction. Start with a question or an interesting fact about your topic.

Do you want to live past 90? If the answer is yes, read this article to find out what you can do to add years to your life expectancy!

3. Write your list points. Use the same style for all of them. For lists of things to do, start each point with a verb.

1. Get plenty of sleep 2. Take care of your teeth 3. Have a healthy social life

4. Provide detailed information for each point. Include explanations, facts, or extra details to support your points.

Sleep is the time our body restore its energy and store new information. Lack of sleep can lead to many health problems. We should sleep seven to eight hours a night.

5. Write a short conclusion. Summarize your main points or suggest an action in your conclusion.

The secrets to a longer life aren't very difficult. Pay attention to your diet, exercise, sleep, and happiness, and you'll find yourself enjoying your 100th birthday!
