We use will for: - on-the-spot decisions. The bus is so crowded. I’ll catch a taxi. - predictions based on what we think/believe. I think vertical farming will be more popular in the future. - promises, warnings, hopes and offers. I will give you a pay rise next year. We use be going to for: - future plans/intentions. My sister is going to find a new job next month. - predictions based on what we see/know. Look at the time! We are going to be late for class. We use the Present Simple for timetables and schedules. My plane leaves at nine o’clock tomorrow morning. We use the Present Continuous for fixed arrangements in the near future. Joe is sitting exams tomorrow.
